About Us

We specialise in contemporary gallery style and archival framing, crafted from Australian hardwood.

Fine Art Picture Framing

Neo Frames is your archival picture framing specialist. We regularly work with artists, collectors, galleries and museums across Australia and the region. With an emphasis on handcrafted technique, our classic and contemporary style will present and preserve artwork to professional standards.

Artists are welcome to discuss a vision for exhibition, while the collector is encouraged to consult with team members regarding each art work’s unique requirements.

Come in and see us at the studio with your artwork, object, family photo or treasure. We look forward to working with you. Choose from a range of finishes which will enhance your artwork and complement its character.

Neo Frames

Our business was established in July 2009 in a 1940s warehouse, Campbell Street, Collingwood. In 2022, we have a new beginning with our move to an old panel beaters shop in Fitzroy.

This area of Melbourne (Naarm) supports a vibrant arts precinct including galleries, creative businesses, cafes and artists’ studios.

Our staff is drawn from a broad skill set including picture framing specialists, collection management, galleries, artists and timber workers. We are committed to the craft of frame making and to the application of archival methods for the presentation of artwork and objects. We adore Australian timber and create contemporary gallery style framing.

We acknowledge the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people of the Kulin nation who are the traditional custodians of the land on which we are located in Melbourne, naarm, and of the Yarra River, Birrarung Valley. We celebrate the diversity of all Aboriginal peoples and their ongoing culture and connection to the lands and waters of this country. We also acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded.
